Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and results-driven Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This role is essential to maintaining clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and high patient satisfaction within our home health operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct all clinical operations and patient care coordination for the Fredericksburg office

• Provide oversight and support to nursing and clinical staff to ensure top-tier care delivery

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency standards, policies, and regulations

• Coordinate with physicians, referral sources, patients, and families to ensure smooth transitions and high-quality outcomes

• Monitor and audit clinical documentation within the EMR system for accuracy and timeliness

• Lead case conferences, quality assurance activities, and ongoing process improvements

• Participate in the hiring, training, and performance evaluation of nursing staff

• Foster a supportive and collaborative team environment

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia

• Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a home health leadership or supervisory role

• Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid home health regulations

• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and clinical documentation standards
