Experienced Home Health – Physical Therapist Assistant
Fredericksburg, VA and surrounding areas

We are currently hiring for Full-time, Part-time, and PRN positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising Physical Therapist with initial and ongoing patient assessments.

• Support the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.

• Carry out therapeutic interventions and exercises to improve strength, mobility, and independence.

• Provide hands-on assistance with gait training, transfers, and daily living activities.

• Educate patients and caregivers on safe techniques and home exercise programs.

• Document care accurately and report changes in patient condition.

• Collaborate with the Physical Therapist and care team to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (Associate’s degree required).

• Current Virginia state licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare, preferably home health or rehabilitation.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Proficiency in assisting with therapeutic exercises and functional training.

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
