You're Not Just Filling a Schedule

A staffing coordinator does much more than put names into open shifts.

You're connecting the right caregiver with the right patient.

You're helping make sure patients don't go without care.

You're communicating with employees when schedules change.

You're solving problems before they become bigger problems.

And yes, sometimes you're figuring out Plan B before anyone realizes Plan A changed.

As our Staffing Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in keeping daily operations running smoothly while supporting our patients, caregivers, clinicians, and office team.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate and maintain daily patient and caregiver schedules
  • Match caregivers and clinical staff with patients based on availability, location, qualifications, and patient needs
  • Communicate schedules and schedule changes clearly with employees and patients
  • Respond quickly to call-outs, cancellations, and changes in patient needs
  • Identify coverage needs and work proactively to fill open assignments
  • Maintain accurate scheduling information within company systems
  • Track employee availability and communicate staffing needs to management
  • Work closely with recruiting and onboarding to identify current and upcoming staffing needs
  • Verify that assigned employees meet required credential and compliance requirements
  • Communicate professionally with patients, families, caregivers, nurses, and other team members
  • Assist with maintaining employee and patient records
  • Support the office with additional administrative responsibilities as needed

Who We're Looking For

This position requires someone who can communicate, organize, prioritize, and problem-solve.

You should be comfortable when the phone is ringing, an employee has a question, a patient needs coverage, and someone just called out for tomorrow.

Instead of freezing, you're already thinking:

"Okay, what are my options?"

We're looking for someone who takes ownership, follows through, and understands that behind every open visit is a patient depending on us.

What You'll Need

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Previous Staffing, Scheduling, Administrative, or Healthcare Experience Preferred
  • Home Health Staffing or Scheduling Experience Strongly Preferred
  • Strong Computer Skills and Ability to Learn Scheduling Software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
