Position Summary

We are seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to support patients in regaining independence and improving daily function in the comfort of their homes. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist with patient assessments and treatment plans

• Provide hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercises, and ADL training

• Implement OT interventions, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications

• Educate patients and caregivers on safety and home exercise programs

• Document visits accurately and in compliance with regulations

• Communicate patient progress and concerns to the care team

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited OTA program

• Current Virginia OTA license (or eligibility)

• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred (home health or rehab a plus)

• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
