Human Touch Home Healthcare is looking for a Staffing Coordinator with a strong sense of go-getter attitude 

Location:  Falls Church, VA
 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for processing agency home health referrals by reaching out to Clinicians in an accurate, timely manner.
2. Work in collaboration with all members of the pod to ensure timely Starts of Care and Resumption of Care for all patients.
3. Report all non-admit patients to the Administrator. 
4. Ability to learn and retain medical terminology and protocols.
5. Serve as the liaison between the company and patients/caregivers.
6. Track and follow up with all patients who are pending the start of care.
7. Understand and can effectively explain all programs offered by the company.
8. Interact with referral sources and sales team regarding new referrals.
9. All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:

• Associates Degree Preferred.
• At least one (1) year of experience in home health is preferred.
• At least one (1) year of experience in a customer service capacity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Must be able to use good and sound judgment.
• Must be able to document accurately and appropriately.
• Demonstrates patience, flexibility, and a cooperative attitude.
• Able to provide excellent customer service.
• Able to effectively manage concurrent demands and multi-task.
• Detail orientated.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Must have accurate data entry skills
• Can work independently
• Uses critical thinking skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, CRM software, Kinnser.
